Comments
Comments: Started Up Crawford path at 8am. bare dirt and rock for the first mile or so. Then firm monorail. above 4000 dirt and rocks. Pierce summit was a few inches of packed snow. on to Eisenhower and Monroe, bare rocks and dirt interspersed with snow patches. some pretty deep. You should watch your step, but nothing super sketchy. Returning from Monroe to Eisenhower snow was softening, but not bad. After Eisenhower we had a few post hole incidents going in 3' deep, going through patches of snow. Down from pierce soft but not bad. no snow balling all day. I used my rock spikes all day. Sharp spikes went for the ride. Future weather will change this, but a good day today.
