Comments
Comments: Beautiful day for Parker. Only significant snow is an intermittent, soft rotting monorail from 2600’ to summit. Also some snow on north side of southerly knob but easily avoidable. I navigated the top section of monorail in trail runners with ease. Threw spikes on the kiddos on descent for peace of mind. My four year old’s first posthole experience was quite comical. Great practice for them dealing with rotting snow that was pretty shallow on a warm day. Only saw three other hikers all day. Snow is disappearing fast up high-great time to hit this peak!
