I started up the snowmobile trail/road (signs marking no atv’s allowed) this was called CB-CH 19. Heading up the wide open nice road, about .75 pass by a junction and continue to go straight, at about 1.4 miles you will hit a green gate and a junction. Take a right here and head up corridor A. From here it was about 1 mile until you hit the height of land. It is an obvious height of land. On your left there will be a cairn and what looks like an old Logged opening, took this into the very open woods with 4 patches of snow. Once I got to what I thought was the summit I looked at my gps and went to the right into the woods and saw the redish cairn and jar! Signed in, headed back down (only .18 mile bushwhack). It was a nice quick 2 hour round trip. A good pick instead of a windy presi day. |
