Comments
Comments: Thanks to Liam’s report, I did a lollipop loop and it only took 2 hours to get both peaks. I went up the gated trail across from Shore Rd, then followed the pink ribbons around the west bump of Downing on the way, then from the summit bushwhacked southeast towards Eagle cliff’s east bump, which looked like it was higher, but the jar is on the west summit. There is a new jar, but I found the old soggy but still readable one on the ground (must have fallen off this past winter). Continuing in a loop, I soon hit the grassy road again, and a nice bench and lookout, which you can see from across the lake if you look close.
