Rock hopping was adequate for all crossings. Feet stayed dry but water ran over the toes of my boots on some of the submerged rocks at the second , larger crossing. |

A few minor blowdowns but no major obstacles |

Trail started dry with some muddy areas. Microspikes were needed a bit after the second crossing. Hard packed snow up to the Garfield Ridge trail and out to Galehead. A few post holes along the way but the surface was generally hard enough to stay on top. |
