 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Baker Road parking has room for a half dozen or so cars in the lot proper. The Cross Rivendell up to Mt. Cube is a popular trail and it uses the same parking so today the lot was full when I got back. |

 | Water Crossing Notes: |
A couple of small streams easily rock hopped. |
|
 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Trail was pretty easy to follow with an open corridor (the area logged some years ago has largely regenerated so there is an open corridor through it) and most of the time good paint blazes. There's about 2-3 spots where additional blazes might help, one in the open logged area just in from Rt. 25A and another where someone painting a boundary line in red painted over the blue blazes of the trail. There's new signs for CR at all the forest road crossings and often with little rock cairns. There's a short wet stretch near Baker Rd, but easily avoided. |
|
 | Dog-Related Notes: |
Easy dog trail. There are two places near the Baker Rd side (if I recall correctly) where a multi-strand barbed wire fence comes near the trail. |

Cross Rivendell (from Baker Rd to Rt. 25A)
There's a few unique angle views of Sunday Mtn filtered through bare hardwood crowns right now, but the main attraction of this trail to me was solitude and novelty, having never done it before and only having a modest amount of time to hike. It's a pleasant walk in the woods now, with no ice or snow or wind exposure; a good dog walk. |
