Comments
Comments: Beautiful day for a hike, though very windy on the summit this afternoon. While this isn't trail maintenance, I feel it needs to be said. Can people PLEASE take their dog poop bags with them instead of leaving them next to the trail!! It's disgusting and trashy - if you don't want to carry it with you, don't take your dog. I saw at least 4 bags left next to the trail, and it takes away from the natural beauty of the hike. On a happier note, I want to congratulate those the have built the relocation of the Main tr. Last time I did this hike (June 2023), there was severe erosion near the beginning of the Main tr., but that section has been relocated with what looks to be an enormous effort, so kudos to everyone involved in that endeavour!
