 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Kimpton Brook Trail has a TON of deadfall and stepovers. Also, there is ongoing sugarbush work the first half-ish mile from 4A - many places to be careful of plastic tubing. I lost the trail going up and spent a lot of time in the sugarbush trying to avoid the tubes. |

After a very awesome morning paddling the Contoocook and hitting a milestone paddling Freight Train Rapid without swimming, I headed here on my way north. Always a fun peak. Wonderful to be snow-free!!! Extended the hike by starting on 4A - I always like the logging roads and the little glen on the way to Stearns Rd. Saw a few groups on my way up/down. Jogged most of the way down until the flats when there was a lot of deadfall. |
