Kaya started our day off tackling Thompson Hill for (MFF) list. Trail conditions were dry and the few runoff streams were easy to cross. We took the Wenny Baker Trail in a counter clockwise direction. We met another friendly hiker who was out checking on the trail for any trail maintenance issues. Thompson was the first of our 4 summits we did this day and the farthest from our home. I did pick a tick off of Kaya"s fur when we got back to the car. Unfortunately it is that time of year again. Those little stinkers are out. No views from he summit. The couple views we did get will be gone once the leaves pop out. Nevertheless Kaya and I had a fun morning there. |
