| Comments: |
Except for a couple of snowmobiles on the way out did not see a soul. Sawyer River Road aka the current snowmobile trail is solid on the shoulders.
The trail was very hard packed and I bare booted to the first climbs past the beaver ponds after that I used micro spikes to the tower. There were several inches of snow after about 3500 feet which had drifted in places. I wore snowshoes on the way down until the first left leading up to the s curves.
Views were shrouded but stunning in all directions. |
