Showed up just as ski area was starting to close, so finding a space was not an issue. |

Mixed precip down low during the late afternoon hours, changing to snow. All snow/frozen precip on the ridge. Some strong winds coming out of the East on the ridge, resulting in drifting.
I wore snowshoes roundtrip and was glad to have them for the drifted portions of the ridge. Opted for the Sosman summit loop (left) to get out of the winds. I think snowshoes will be a very good idea on the NH4Ks tomorrow. |
