York Pone Rd is mostly ice but sanded. Our 4 wheel drive had no problem. Parking areas for both Unknown Pond Trail and York Pond Trail plowed. |

| Water Crossing Notes: |
Many stream crossings, but all either bridged or easy to cross with a big step or leap. |

| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
One duck under at the cabin and one blowdown en route to the summit - herd path has been packed down around it. |

Saw one dog out on the trail - can't forsee any issues for a dog of any size. |

Beautiful sunny day to be out on the trail - finally got that view from the cabin! Trail conditions were absolutely ideal. We barebooted the whole time but also saw folks in light traction.
Came across a couple guys who had done a backpacking trip loop via Unknown Pond, so the trail is broken out between the summit and Unknown Pond thanks to them. |
