Comments
Comments: a Fine day with clouds lifting by early afternoon to reveal peak of Lafayette. Only two others on MKT, but several very nice folks on KRT. All trails packed frozen granular with ice in stretches of MKT (step off trail, and posthole to 12") micros ok down low, but crampons better higher; several with snowshoes with Traction doing well on KRT. [Some traction needed!] Beautiful snow-covered winter trees; views nice under clouds.

Kestrel data: T=20F W=5-10mph WC= 0-10F.
