Comments
Comments: Very little snow for the first two miles or so of the Stony Brook Trail, though ice remnants of monorail exist in a few places. I barebooted to the Carter Moriah Trail without much slipping.

First water crossing (biggest) was tricky but doable with wet boots. Second and third water crossings were doable, though a bit tricky due to the snowbanks on either end (easily crossed once at the rock level).

Mud started after about 2 miles, then consistent snow (monorail) started shortly after the second water crossing.

Carter Moriah Trail had some minor patches of ice, bare ledge, and monorail. Microspikes were adequate.

I didn't have any issues with postholing, though the Stony Brook Trail was getting pretty soft later in the day.
