| Comments: |
Pine Bend Brook Trail was well packed and solid. We used microspikes all the way up with only minor difficulty in some of the steeper sections.
Sabbaday Brook Trail was not well packed and was a bit of a mess from bare boot traffic. We switched to snowshoes here and smoothed out the top section of the trail but the lower elevations was very crusty and lumpy. Great day to be out, didn't see anyone else on the trail today (besides a couple curious wanderers near the Sabbaday Falls Picnic area). |
