Met at the Beaver Brook recreation area for a car spot. Drove to Seven Dwarf Motel to start the hike. Plenty of parking when we arrived at 7am. |

Snowshoes are a must! The trails are broken out but have not frozen up yet. We post holed with snowshoes on. There was at 3-4” of new snow up high so we were breaking trail just below the summit of North Twin until part way down South Twin when we met someone who had broke the trail out from the Gale River side. Trees are still heavy with snow so there is a lot of ducking and dodging branches. We lost the trail for a bit not far past the summit of North Twin. Blue blazes were hard to spot in places. 4 of us wondered around that area for a bit. Sorry! |
