Comments
Comments: Packed trail on Old Mast to 1/4 mile below 4Way jct, but snowshoes still required on all trails. Above that point was unbroken through 6 or more inches of untrod snow, across Lawrence and down Kelley to the base of the headwall. Two or more snowshoe tracks had come up Kelley, but instead of going up the left side of the headwall, had tried going straight up, before turning back and descending. Further down, met one hiker with snowshoes and dog coming up to do the same loop over Lawrence and down Old Mast.
So all three trails are trod on, but all three still require snowshoes.
No tracks at all were seen at the junctions with Walden, Square Ledge, Oliverian, nor on Lawrence east of the Kelley junction.
