After hiking Locke Hill, I had extra time, so I came here thinking about a quick out-and-back to the Quarrys. Unfortunately, the trailhead parking area for Reed Road Trail is completely unplowed. There's also a large berm right at the entrance to the parking area. The only vehicle that's going to get in there is a snowplow. And unfortunately, there isn't anywhere else nearby to legally park.
It's odd, since this parking area has been plowed in previous winters. Not sure what the deal is this time. |
