Semi packed trail with soft conditions especially higher up. Suggest continuing snowshoes to pack trail further. Some were wearing spikes throughout and were punching through. (One sunk up to his thighs as I pulled over let him pass) I started with spikes but quickly switched to snowshoes with semi soft surface making for decreased traction. |
