Full Wildcat-Carter-Moriah Traverse. Trails I broke out include: Carter Notch Hut to Carter Dome, Mount Hight Spur, and Carter-Moriah trail between Imp trail and Mount Moriah. The rest had tracks from 1-2 people, which is more by now as I saw a bunch of other hikers out. Disclaimer for anyone considering following my tracks between North Carter and Moriah, that trail is a Warzone. Blowdown everywhere and I must’ve stepped on at least 30 spruce traps today. The trail along the base of imp mountain is enough to make any trail maintainer cry. Also, it got dark out when I was around 0.5 miles from the summit of Moriah so there’s a lot of wrong turns and dead ends. Breaking trail in that jungle gym at night is certainly not ideal.
