Comments
Comments: Gorgeous day to hike. Went counterclockwise. Can you bareboot/use light traction? Yes. SHOULD you use snowshoes? YES! Varied stages of trail being packed out—lower 1/3 counterclockwise and clockwise much more packed. Near ledges at the top, not completely packed in spots. Lots of post holes near top. I zipped right up in snowshoes but folks I passed without them struggled. You’ll have a much more fun hike in snowshoes.
