Blue bird and near no wind day. Trail is in great shape overall. Well packed corridor with lose snow throughout. The ski trail had seen a lot of traffic over vacation week, making some of the descent and crossings interesting to navigate. The scree field below the summit has seen some ski traffic as well so paying attention to the route was important. Snowshoes are recommend but about half of the folks I saw weren't using them. |
