I arrived at 7:30 am to an almost empty parking lot, and much to my delight, a bathroom with 4 walls.
The trail is in ok condition, but snowshoes are highly recommended, for your own sake and the sake of the trail. Especially between Liberty and Flume. Lots of bare booters which made the trail soupy for the descent.
Arrived to a dead battery (reason# 73 why I’m an early bird) and luckily a bunch of SAR guys. Big thanks to Jeff for the jump!
Also, I ran into a few people asking about my snowshoes. They are called Snowfoot, and if you want free shipping and 10% off MSRP, use promo code snowfootswede (at www, Snowfoot.com) |
