Easy cruiser on a bluebird day to get Isolation done. Folks will want snowshoes the whole time. Met a guy who came up from Mass. with Hillsounds, ankle high boots and no gaiters, he turned around about .8 in. Snowpack has not set up well and will need some warmer weather, a little rain, then cold temps again for the monorail to set up well and be spike-able, which might happen next week. This seems pretty true for all trails across the Whites. Good hiking! |
