Snowshoes |

None |
 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Good shape, single duck under would need a large saw, but an easy duck |
 | Dog-Related Notes: |
Deep snow would be difficult. A dog with hair vs. fur is highly likely to get paws frozen up with snowballs; so not recommended for this route. However, a dog only going up and down the Roberts trail would likely be fine, hair or fur. |

 | Comments: |
Heavy deep snow with drifts on much of Faraway switchbacks. A single skier had gone before partway and when those tracks ended unbroken snow with some crust. Ridge trail was untouched. It was hard work for a party of 3 but now Faraway and the ridge is broken out over to Mr. Roberts. The Roberts trail is fairly well consolidated, but no exposed rock due to snow depth and snowshoes would both improve the trail and prevent the occasional postholes that are still appearing. |
