Three of us in Snowshoes door to door. Trail is establishing nicely for the weekend. It was obvious several parties had been up and broke trail and others have patted it down. Thank you! Perfect day for this hike even with the cold and winds at the summit. Made for a short stay in spite of this spectacular view. The first sunny ledge looking at the big Sandwich range was our lunch spot today. You can’t miss it! Only saw one solo hiker after our lunch who was also in snowshoes. And we saw one woman with her young daughters who realized they were on the wrong trail at the brook. The trail is in great condition after such a big snow storm. You’ll be sorry if you don’t wear your shoes on the second half of the trail. I really appreciated my televators on todays great hike. |
