Started at 930 from 7 Dwarfs. Walked Little River Road. It was plowed. Took the trail to Haystack Road. It was tracked out. Right on to Haystack Road. Snowmachine packed. Left onto Forest Service Road. No evidence of prior foot traffic. My hiking partner broke most of the 2 miles up to the Peak Above The Nubble. 1 to 2 feet of heavy snow. The sky was mostly cloudy so to the greatest day for view. A few scruce traps at the top. In all, 3 people when up and down today, so its well broken. |
