	Date of Hike:	Thursday, February 20, 2025

	Parking/Access Road Notes:	Plowed lot with ample parking on Thompson Road. First one in this morning and no others when I left at 9:30.

	Surface Conditions:	Snow - Packed Powder/Loose Granular

	Recommended Equipment:	Snowshoes, Light Traction

	Water Crossing Notes:	All frozen and snowed over.

	Trail Maintenance Notes:	Trail in good shape with a few leaners, step-overs, and walk-unders.

	Comments:	Out and back to Middle on a beautiful day. Two degrees when I started and 21 degrees when I finished. A calm day with no wind. Trail in great shape with well packed out firm trough to the summit. A little chopped up with a few shallow postholes on the ridge leading up to the summit. No ice. I had the trail to myself on this early start.
