Comments
Comments: The snowpack continues to grow. Close to 2 feet of powder down low with areas of 3 feet on the ridge.

This route had seen mostly ski traffic since the storm. However, a parasitic postholer decided to trash the trails today. They were unsuccessful in reaching the summit, as they turned around on the ridge after floundering around the first deep snow drift. Good riddance.

I cleaned up what postholes that I could with my snowshoes, but there is still some carnage. I suspect there could be continued drifting as well in certain places.

No sign of recent traffic coming up Crawford Ridgepole from the south.

Partly sunny afternoon with temperatures around 30F.
