Comments
Comments: Well, after two easy, broken-out hikes (Eagle Mtn. and Black Mtn.), my luck ran out. With my big girl, large Tubbs I broke out this loop from Wildcat Ski area and got an excellent workout. How ironic that amidst all the busy-ness of Pinkham and Wildcat, these trails hadn't seen foot traffic for quite some time. Had forgotten how steep and scrambly parts of these trails are. They are un-boring!

Having started at around 2 pm, I quickly realized I'd have to leave the little spurs (to Old Jackson Road) of George's and Crew-Cut for another day as I did not wish to be benighted. Three miles took almost 3 hours. Hahaha. But it is a beautiful, worthwhile little loop, and the views from Lila's Ledge and Brad's Bluff are sweet!
