Lost and Found
Lost and Found: One camera hood -- saw on trail on way down. Had not been there on way up. I'd passed about 25 people as I descended, so I left it, hoping they would see it on their way back.

Comments
Comments: Superlative day! Scarcely any wind (picked up at midday), blue skies (clouded over in afternoon), packed trail -- Hillsounds spikes were perfectly adequate -- snowshoes went for a ride. Snow was beautiful and the views near and at the summit were spectacular. Two people passed me on the ascent, saw them again briefly on summit (after they tried to go over to Pierce but found the trail drifted over -- they did not have snowshoes-- so decided against it and headed back down.) I had a good 15-20 minutes alone on summit. Delightful. Steep sections near summit were a bit hairy to descend but side-stepping and care made it doable. Passed 31 people as I descended! Another great day in the Whites!
