Comments
Comments: The Osseo ladders are completely covered with snow... the snow was wet (temp ~ 40) and was balling under microspikes. I switched to snowshoes for the steep terrain (where the ladders were buried) Climbing was not too bad, but descending the steeps was very slow. The trail was well packed and easy to follow except for the last 50' of the climb to Flume... walking across the trailhead of the Flume Slide was a bit uncomfortable (terrifying??) An ice axe (and knowing how to use it) would have been nice. Spring Weather today.
