19 MB was bony until the intersection of the Carter Dome trail.. hopefully today’s snow improves the conditions…around 2200’ where the 5 boulders are visible on the north side of the trail, be aware that a large section of the trail is iced over here.. today’s new snow, depending on the amount, may cover this and you’ll have no concern…. Just beware that there is ice underfoot… once past this section, ice was only in small patches and should be inconsequential…past the intersection of Carter Domd trail, snowshoes were most efficient..9 snowshoers on the trail for the last day of January… some people came up Polecat, while the rest did an out/back from 19MB |
