 | Comments: |
As grade increased more loose, soft snow. Snowshoes for better traction and compacting soft snow. As we ascended the snow became softer and softer. By the time we reached the summit we had started a nice packed track.
So the question was how many snowshoes does it take to pack a trail before hikers think they can barefoot ? Today the answer was two snowshoes. Only one other hiker of the eight we saw thought conditions warranted shoes. Everyone else had their rototillers on. |
