Success Pond Road is much better in winter, just a few washboard spots; at the Success Trailhead someone had plowed a spot which would allow for one or two vehicles, but the road is pretty wide this year so parking along it would appear ok. |

See above trail maintenace comments; unbroken snow after the wood yard where the trail proper begins; very deep in spots, hiding many rocks etc,, ankle twisters!! Lower Overlook Loop Trail had a couple spruce traps and spots of deeper snow than below..muted colored views today..did alot of glissading on the way down!! |
