Comments
Comments: Carried snowshoes and microspikes, but used neither. Trail was mostly a little powder over a very firm base. Some ice seemed just beneath a dusting of snow, so some sort of traction could be helpful. One ice flow above spring at 3400 feet - a herdpath avoids this. A thaw or new snow will change things, of course.
