 | Comments: |
Well, we were very happy to find the Ellis River frozen and snowbridged enough to provide safe crossing. Part of this hiking trail is a Jackson XC ski trail in winter. We made sure to walk off to the sides in snowshoes to prevent damage to the beautifully groomed surface.
The falls were almost completely frozen and underwhelming this day, but we took the little side path down to the viewpoint. Caution! This spot was extremely icy, and it would not be too difficult to go sliding off the edge. |
