Generally 1 to 6 inches of powder from last weekend's storm. Spikes a good idea due to the underlying ice in a few areas. A good portion of this route is still too bony for snowshoes, although I was wishing for them in the deeper areas. A few more inches of snow would make a difference.
Partly sunny afternoon with temperatures in the 20s but dropping quickly. |
