Comments
Comments: Generally about 2 to 6 inches of fluffy powder with essentially no base underneath on this south-facing trail. Snow was fluffy enough that the trail was generally too bony for snowshoes. That said, if doing the Cabin or Eagle Cliff approaches, I'd probably want snowshoes. Otherwise, rock spikes were adequate to reduce the potential for slippage with the small hidden patches of ice.

Nice sunny afternoon/evening with temperatures plummeting from the teens.
