 | Comments: |
We wore snowshoes most of the day, except for the access road which has been used by snowmobiles. Although there was a trench/snow-covered previous tracks, we were the only ones on both trails all day and it had snowed a few inches at higher elevations since the last person hiked Fire Warden's Trail. The snow is soft and unconsolidated and deeper at higher elevations, so snowshoes are needed. The snowy woods are magical right now and the trail is broken, so get out there while it lasts! Looks like more snow is on the way for the weekend! |
