Was a beautiful day to be out. Did the Thumb/Skatutakee Mountain loop from the Harris Center. I was surprised to see there was snow on the ground since we haven't had much in the southern part of the state yet. There was a few ice flows along the trail with some black ice on rocks. Snow was patchy here and there. I wore microspikes the whole way didn't want to on/off them the whole trip. Great views from Thumb Mountain and a few from Skatutakee Mountain as well. Trails were in good condition also. |
