Comments
Comments: Left at 1 PM to enjoy sunset up on Passaconway then hike under a nearly full moon on the way down. Mission accomplished with the added bonus of not seeing another soul out there. This route is much more enjoyable in winter for views of the ledges and lack of mud!

Light traction is fine as we broke trail ranging from a dusting to 3 inches, snowshoes work well on the Cutoff above Square Ledge to Walden. Made it to the view point via the herd path. Not a fan of this sugary-rotten snowpack right now. We need the wet stuff!
