 | Comments: |
Bare boots to Gem Pool, wore spikes up Ammo to Monroe and over Washington and down the rocks on Jewell before switching to snowshoes for descent.
A few inches of fresh powder snow fell while we were hiking. Total mixed bag of trail conditions, lots of back and forth between powdered ice and slightly sloggy drifts (snow has clearly been blowing around).
Good enough to get both peaks in daylight, but you won't set any speed records. Careful not to break an ankle coming down! |
