Did some research on condition of lend-a-hand & was pleasantly surprised that 9 sets of snowshoes went over trail & almost no blowdowns. At least 4 sets of snowshoes went over hale Brook today. Maybe 3-4” new snow higher up. Couple of bony spots to negotiate with snowshoes throughout, mostly near drainages. Very picturesque & saw pine marten chasing a hare. |
