Comments
Comments: As previous trail reports noted the trail is well packed - EXCEPT the wind over the last few days has created a lot of drifting snow. Minor drifting until near East, but after that about half the trail was covered with snow drifts up to a foot deep. Best I could tell 5 people went all the way to Osceola today, 2 with snowshoes (best choice with the drifts) and 3 with spikes so the drifts have been beaten down a bit. The trail could still use some snowshoe love and after Saturdays additional snow the trail will really benefit from some snowshoe love.
