Half Moon Pond Road was in good condition and well sanded. I barebooted all the way but spikes would have been nice on the road walk lots of big ice flows. Trail was clear and there were old hiker tracks sometimes visible. Ground was icy, bare, snowy with a light crust one to two inches deep. Nice view of Pats Peak from upper view ledge. MD Greenway register at summit showed someone was there there says ago. I just went out and bag. First time here in winter. Went after work got out before dark, setting sun was pretty. Fun time
