The point today was a loop up to the South summit then down Nat Thompson and Fred Harris. There was anywhere from 1” to 3” on the trails. I stupidly left my Hillsounds behind - they would have been quite helpful. Ran into three solo hikers as they were coming down while I was going up. As expected, Nat and Fred had been less frequented than the Moose Mtn (AT) trail. The cabin near the lower end of Nat’s trail is more like a lodge - very nice. |
