Shoulder season conditions continue amidst the colder than average weather. Patchy snow and ice, ranging anywhere from a dusting to half a foot of frozen granular. Areas of blue ice that resulted in Microspikes not getting good purchase. Also some extended areas of a tenth of a mile or so at a time with no snow or ice.
Mostly cloudy afternoon with temperatures in the teens and the persistent wind. |
