Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: large parking lot. We were only the third car there given cold weather.

Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: open but easily crossed on the Brook Trail.

Trail Maintenance Notes: well marked. The newly made portion of the Mount Major Trail is fantastic

Dog-Related Notes: great dog trail Piper, Zelda and Clemmy did well.

Comments
Comments: Nice hike in cold temperatures with windy conditions at the summit.
The Boulder Loop Trail had only a small amount of ice as did the summit.
Descending the Brook Trail was a different story as it was like a frozen river and traction was needed.
We desperately need snow.
