dog enjoyed the frigid temps today. |

trail packed. used spikes the whole way. powdery loose snow along the ridge. stayed left on the loop and returned the same side. windchill was tolerable until stepping out onto the summit clearing. OUCH!
one water-crossing had water flowing, but not hard to cross. the other crossing was frozen solid.
no longer a bunch of steps going up, just one smooth snow ramp. happy trails! |
